Elfrida

About Elfrida

Elfrida is farm country, a scatter of homesteads and center-pivot fields along US 191 in the broad Sulphur Springs Valley, with the Chiricahua Mountains rising blue to the east. In winter, sandhill cranes come down by the thousands to feed in the valley's fields, and their rolling calls carry for miles on still mornings. Elfrida, the lawn care business that shares its town's name, brings that same unhurried farm-country steadiness to yards around town: mowing, trimming, edging and the cleanup that keeps a homestead looking cared for. A yard edged clean against a dirt road, with the far ridges fading to lavender at dusk, is its own kind of handsome. This is work built to stand up to wind, sun and the wide valley sky.
