Round Valley Gardens

About Round Valley Gardens

Eagar sits in Round Valley at nearly seven thousand feet, and the growing season here is short, bright and fiercely appreciated. When the last frost finally lifts, often not until late spring, Round Valley Gardens turns to the beds, lawns and plantings that have to make the most of every warm week. Summer afternoons bring clouds piling over the White Mountains, with Escudilla Mountain standing off to the southeast, and beds that were planted and tended well take those storms gladly. There's something hard-won and lovely about a high-country yard in full color by July. Coaxing that color out of cool mountain ground is Round Valley Gardens' particular joy.
