Maddux & Sons

About Maddux & Sons

By September the grass in Douglas has taken everything the storms gave it and gone deep green, and it wants cutting more often than it did all year. Maddux & Sons runs the mowers through that stretch, weekly cuts, edges redrawn along walks and driveways, hedges brought back to shape after their growing spurt. There is weed control in the rock and along the block walls, then the cleanup that follows once the nights cool and the leaves let go. The work runs from the neighborhoods out past the brick storefronts on G Avenue and on toward Pirtleville, wherever a yard needs keeping. Nothing complicated about it: cut straight, clean up after yourself, and let the yard say the rest.
