About Joens Diane

Look west from Cottonwood on a winter evening and Jerome's lights hang on the flank of Mingus Mountain, a whole town perched above the valley floor. Down below, Joens Diane tends Cottonwood yards through the quiet months, when lawns rest and the work turns to tidying, pruning and setting things up for spring. A dusting of snow on Mingus is the signal that the year has turned, and a clean, cut-back yard looks especially handsome under the pale January sun. The craft lives in small finishes: a crisp edge along the walk, a bed cleared of fallen debris, a lawn that wakes up strong because it went into winter right. It's patient, neighborly work, and the yards show it.
