About Arbor Ridge Tree & Yard Services

Late in the day Mingus Mountain throws its long blue shadow across Cottonwood, and the heat finally lets go of the yards below. Arbor Ridge Tree & Yard Services works those hours — mowing, trimming and edging on the juniper benches above town, where the ground is more rock than loam and every stretch of green is something somebody decided to keep. The satisfaction is in the finish: a straight cut line where turf meets gravel, clippings swept off the drive, nothing left behind but the smell of cut grass in dry air. In the Verde Valley a tended yard reads as an act of will, and that is how they treat it. Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Cornville and the switchback roads toward Jerome all fall inside the day's loop.
