Exotic Gardens

About Exotic Gardens

There is something about a garden tucked into a canyon that makes it feel like a secret kept from the rest of the world. Exotic Gardens brings that sense of discovery to Clacks Canyon, a small place where the hillsides run tawny much of the year. Spring arrives here in a rush of warm afternoons and new-growth breezes, and that is the moment to have beds turned, plants chosen and everything ready to take off. The work is part gardener and part curator: plants with character, each given its right patch of sun, the whole picture kept trimmed and thriving. A garden like that turns an ordinary afternoon into a small occasion, and making a canyon home feel unexpectedly lush is what Exotic Gardens is after.
