About Silver Fern Landscaping

January in Chandler is a kind month: mornings cold enough to fog a windshield, afternoons in shirtsleeves, backyard citrus hanging heavy and bright. Silver Fern Landscaping works that winter calendar — mowing the overseed while it grows slow, edging and trimming so yards stay tidy through the short days, thinning citrus and shrubs back to good shape, keeping cool-season weeds out of the beds. Dormant bermuda has a color all its own, a pale wheat that looks handsome kept neat and shabby when it isn't. Cleanups clear the drop from the trees before the wind can spread it around. The work is unglamorous, and the result is a yard that reads as tended in any light.
