Endless Summer Yard Care

About Endless Summer Yard Care

An August storm announces itself as a brown wall standing out past the Gila River, and then Chandler gets ten minutes of dust, twenty minutes of rain, and a morning of palo verde limbs lying across everybody's grass. Endless Summer Yard Care shows up after: limbs cut and carried out, grit raked off the turf, the lawn mowed back to level and the walks blown until the concrete is concrete again. The rest of the year runs calmer — weekly cutting, tight edges, trimming around walls and beds — but the storm cleanups are the ones people remember. Monsoon rain also does what no irrigation timer can, and the week after a good one the Bermuda comes on so fast the mower has to work for it. Summer here is long, and the point is a yard that looks unbothered by it.
