About Papago Landscaping

December light in the Foothills arrives low and sideways, stretching the shadow of every saguaro halfway across the yard. Papago Landscaping works the short days of the cool months — a lighter mow, trimming along walls and walks, steady cleanup of the leaves and pods that pile into the corners. Winter is when a desert yard shows its bones, and good bones deserve clean geometry. There is real pleasure in a lawn cut evenly in December, its border crisp against the gravel, the drive cleared before the crew pulls out. The sun is down by five-thirty and the yard looks composed until spring.
