The Lawn Company

About The Lawn Company

After dark, downtown Casa Grande glows a little — the old restored signs along Florence Boulevard throwing red and blue across the pavement, the way this stretch of road has looked to travelers for a long while. The Lawn Company works the streets behind that light, where the houses sit on square lots and a front lawn is still the first thing a place says about itself. Mowing on a set schedule, edging every pass, feeding the grass through the growing months and keeping the weeds from getting a foothold: unglamorous, and it's what makes a block look cared for. The reward is arriving at a property that was overgrown last week and leaving it squared away. A well-kept yard on an old street is a small, stubborn form of civic pride.
