About A.C.E. Lawn Services

In Butler the day starts early — mowers out while the desert is still blue and cool, hours before the Sonoran sun turns the pavement into a griddle. A.C.E. Lawn Services works that window: Bermuda cut clean, edges laid straight along the driveway, clippings blown off the walk so a whole yard reads sharp by breakfast. Come July the monsoon stacks up over the southeast horizon and drops a wall of dust and rain across the valley, and the grass answers by growing overnight — that is the stretch of the year this crew is built for. They take the string-trimming around block walls and backyard citrus, the shrub work, the weed control that keeps gravel and turf on their own sides of the line, and the hauling-off after a storm has thrown half a palo verde onto the lawn. There is a plain kind of satisfaction in a Butler yard that already looks tended at six in the morning, green and squared while the street is still quiet.
