At sundown the Sacaton Mountains go flat black against an orange sky, and the dust of the day's work hangs gold above the fields. GreenGuard tends the yards under that sky, cutting grass at the right times, taking weeds out of the gravel and the beds, and keeping shrubs and borders inside their lines. Autumn is the reward season in this part of Pinal County: the heat finally breaks, the lawns thicken up, and everything done back in July starts paying. Repeated, patient care is what makes a yard here look easy. It is not easy, but it can be made to look that way.
