Centaur Yard Services

About Centaur Yard Services

By late afternoon the heat here stops arguing and the light turns long and gold down the straight run of the avenues. That is Centaur Yard Services' favorite hour to work: mower stripes laid across a cooling lawn, edges cut sharp against the concrete, clippings gathered up instead of scattered. Between the fields and the packing sheds this is farm country at heart, and a tidy yard reads the way a well-kept row does, deliberate and squared up and finished. They mow, trim, edge and clear away whatever the season sheds, week after week. When the truck pulls off, the shadows are stretching and the place looks cared for all the way from the road.
