About High Desert Designs

Daisy Mountain holds the last of the sun over Anthem, and the desert cools fast once that shadow crosses the neighborhoods. High Desert Designs works those hours, mowing the overseeded lawns, edging the walks to a straight line, trimming the borders where turf gives way to granite and agave. Summer here is a negotiation: cut high, cut often, keep the clippings off the hardscape. When the monsoon comes up the I-17 corridor out of the valley, the clearing that follows it is part of the job too. A yard in these desert foothills, kept sharp, holds its own against a very large landscape.
