About Evans

Out past the last row of houses in Ward the sky opens wide over pond and pasture, and July sun sits on all of it from morning until late. Evans keeps yards in that heat the way heat requires — cut high, cut regular, trim the fence line and the path down to the pond bank, blow the drive clear and move on. A plain name on a plain job, and the measure of it is simple: does the yard look right when you pull in? Sharp blades, straight passes, nothing left ragged where the mower could not reach. Some weeks that is the most satisfying thing on the whole road.
