About Blade Runners

Before US 412 has any traffic on it, Tontitown is quiet and the dew is deep enough to soak a boot through. Blade Runners begins there: mowers out early, lines laid straight across the front yards, trimmer work close around posts, trees and downspouts. Every hard surface gets blown off, so the only evidence of the visit is a lawn that looks better than it did an hour before. That pattern holds all season, from the first cut of spring to the final cleanup of fall, and it doesn't slip when the weather gets mean. Sharp blades, a level cut, a clean border — that's the whole recipe.
