About WHIT CO

Late February. Warm-season lawns in St. Vincent are still winter-tan, and the first mild afternoon feels like a rumor of spring. WHIT CO starts there. Lawn care at this end of winter means clearing the season's leaves and limbs off the grass, cutting the dead growth down low and trimming edges back to where they belong, so the yard is clean when green-up comes. Short work, sharp lines. When the grass finally turns, it comes up even, and the whole yard looks as if it had been waiting for exactly that.
