About K&M Dirtworks & Tree service

After a spring thunderstorm crosses St. Vincent, the ground holds water like a sponge and the air smells of wet soil and torn leaves. K&M Dirtworks & Tree service, whose very name starts with the dirt, turns to lawn care once the yard has dried enough to work. The storm's scatter of sticks gets cleared first, soft spots are treated gently, and then the mower goes over in clean, even passes. What results is a lawn that looks rested rather than battered, its grass standing upright in the rinsed light. Leaving the ground in better shape than the weather did is the point of it all.
