About Bailey’s Yard Works

The first real mowing day in St. Vincent tends to arrive in March, when redbuds blush purple along the roadsides and lawns wake unevenly, green in the sun and still brown in the shade. Bailey's Yard Works meets that awakening with practical yard work: a first cut to even things out, trimming along beds and fences, and a cleanup of whatever winter left lying on the grass. It is satisfying to turn a ragged patch of early spring into a yard with intention again. When the dogwoods open in April, a lawn kept this way frames their white blossoms like a clean page. From there, the season only gets greener.
