About Mario’s Lawn and Landscaping

The first week of July belongs to the rodeo grounds at Parsons Stadium, and for a few evenings the whole town seems to be out in the heat together. Mario's Lawn and Landscaping works straight through that stretch, because grass in early July takes no holiday — it gains an inch and asks for another cut. Mowing, edging, trimming down the fence and around the mailbox, then the drive swept back to bare concrete. Yards get their turn one after another, the same order every week, so nothing ever runs ahead of the mower. A freshly cut lawn on a hot Springdale evening is a good place to stand.
