D&T yard maintenance

About D&T yard maintenance

Early French visitors are said to have called this country sumac couvert, covered in sumac, and over time the words softened into Smackover. A century ago the town boomed on oil, and pumpjacks still nod here and there among the south Arkansas pines, where summers run long, wet and fiercely green. D&T yard maintenance keeps Smackover's yards from vanishing into all that growth, mowing back grass that surges in the humid heat, trimming along ditches and fence posts, and clearing pine straw and cones off the lawn. Early on a summer morning, before the air turns thick, a freshly cut yard on a quiet street here smells of grass and resin. It is hot, rewarding work in a town that has always known the worth of what comes up out of its ground.
