Tuxedo cuts

About Tuxedo cuts

There is a minute near sundown when a freshly cut lawn turns two-toned, the passes running dark and light like fabric while the Ozark foothills go lavender behind the treeline. Tuxedo cuts chases that look on purpose across Randolph: even passes, edges held true along the walk, the trimmer taking the corners a deck rounds off. Clippings come off the concrete before a job is called finished, because a lawn is not dressed until the last detail is right. Nobody needs a formal yard, but everybody likes one that looks like it was done with intention. That is the idea behind the name.
