About Zaiger Lawn Care

The first hard frost shows up overnight and turns every lawn silver until about nine in the morning, and after that the growing is finished for the year. Zaiger Lawn Care spends November in Pocahontas on the closing work: the last cut taken low, the leaves gathered and hauled, the beds and corners cleared before the cold sets in for good. The rest of the calendar is straightforward mowing, trimming and edging on a schedule that keeps a yard from ever getting ahead of anybody. There is a particular satisfaction to that final pass, when the yard is put to bed clean and will hold that way for months. Come spring the same ground gets opened back up, and the whole thing starts over.
