About Design One Landscaping & Home Decor

Pine Bluff takes its name from a high bank above the Arkansas River, and from there the land opens east into the flat, generous country of the Delta. Design One Landscaping & Home Decor approaches a yard the way a decorator approaches a room, looking for where the eye should land first and building the planting around it. On a still August morning, when the air off Lake Saracen is thick enough to hold the smell of cut grass for an hour, a well-composed yard shows its worth: shade where the heat presses hardest, color set where the light falls, a lawn edged crisp against the walk. Beds are shaped with intention and the grass kept low and even. In this old river city, a front yard made beautiful is its own small act of faith in the street.
