Poppy's Irrigation

About Poppy's Irrigation

August out around Two Rivers Park can turn brown in a fortnight if the rain skips town, and every lawn in the valley feels it at the same moment. Poppy's Irrigation works that stretch of the year hardest — keeping water going where it belongs, and keeping the lawn itself mowed, edged and trimmed so none of it is spent on neglect. Early morning is the honest hour for both: cool ground, low wind, grass standing straight up for the blade. The reward is a yard still holding its green through the worst month while the ditch banks go the color of straw. When the heat finally lets go, the work turns to fall cleanup and leaves across Big Rock, Little Rock and Maumelle.
