Nelson's Lawn Service

About Nelson's Lawn Service

Early June in Nelson smells of two things at once: honeysuckle tangled along the fencerows and fresh-cut grass drifting over from somebody's yard. Nelson's Lawn Service is often the reason for the second, mowing, trimming and tidying lawns as the Arkansas summer gathers strength. This is the stretch when turf thickens by the day, so regular visits keep the grass from ever getting away — blades kept at one height, borders kept in line, the driveway left bare. By late morning the sun is already serious, and a lawn just finished throws back a deep, rested green. Leaving a corner of Nelson smelling like June is a simple pleasure, and a genuine one.
