Highway 215 follows the Mulberry upstream through some of the prettiest curves in Arkansas, and by late October the hardwoods along it turn the valley copper. Mulberry River Outdoor Adventures spends the season on the grass side of that view — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing fallen leaves off lawns and walkways. Autumn cleanups here are a running argument with the wind, and there is a fine reward in a yard swept bare and green beneath emptying branches. Every lot gets a walk-around at the end to catch whatever the blower missed. The work carries on into the short days, and the town looks better for it.
