About Petes Landscaping

Morning comes slowly to this stretch of the Ozark plateau, fog settling into the hollows below town until the sun lifts it off the ridge. Petes Landscaping starts the mowers while the grass is still silver with dew, working yards across the wide flat where Mountain Home first took root as Rapp's Barren. Mowing, trimming and edging, landscape beds kept clean, clippings blown off the walk before the truck pulls away. By midday the lines are laid in and the driveway is swept bare, and a yard holds that shape all week. It is ordinary work done all the way to the end, which is the only way it looks like anything.
