About Devil Dog Lawn Care

Late August smells like cut hay and creek water, and the fog lies low until the sun is up. Devil Dog Lawn Care spends those mornings on the mowers around Little Rock — grass taken down even across ground that never agreed to be level, string trimming around posts, culverts and porch steps, the walk and drive cleared before the gate closes. Some yards run big, bordered by pasture as often as by another lawn, and holding a true line where the mown grass meets the field is the difference between a yard and a clearing. Afternoon rain can reset the entire calendar. Coming back on time, every time, is what the work amounts to.
