About Huffer Lawn Services

Jonesboro sits up on Crowley's Ridge with the Delta running flat and green away from it, and that little bit of elevation changes everything about how a lawn drains. Huffer Lawn Services reads it — mowing with the contour, trimming out the slopes and tree rings, cutting drives back to a clean border, keeping clippings off the street where a rain would only carry them downhill. Summer here is long and loud with heat, so the rotation tightens; autumn brings the ridge hardwoods down in armloads, and that is a different job entirely. A few minutes from most neighborhoods, Craighead Forest Park keeps its cathedral of oaks, and the yards nearby borrow the same shade and the same fallen leaves. A lawn cut right on a slope looks calm, and calm is the whole idea.
