About Craighead Lawn Services

The county seat has a brick-and-shade dignity to it — the courthouse square, the old storefronts along Main, sidewalks somebody has been sweeping for a very long time. Craighead Lawn Services carries the county's name and works its yards accordingly: mowing on a set week, edging walks back to their true line, trimming close where a mower cannot sit level, clearing the path when the cutting is done. From downtown blocks to the newer streets pushing out toward the county line, the standard does not move. Jonesboro grows fast in a wet spring, and the whole cure is arriving before the yard gets ahead of you. A tended lawn is one of the plainest ways a town says it is doing all right.
