About Clifft Lawn & Pest Management

August in Craighead County arrives thick — cicadas going all afternoon, heat standing over the pavement, bermuda greener for all of it if somebody keeps it cut. Clifft Lawn & Pest Management handles the keeping: weekly mowing at a height that shades its own roots, edging along the drive, trimming the fence line, the concrete cleared before the trailer ramp goes up. In deep heat a lawn is either maintained or it is surrendered, and there is not much middle ground in a Jonesboro summer. Late-day work has its own reward, when the shadows finally stretch across a yard cut that morning and it still looks it. Green grass through August is mostly stubbornness on a schedule.
