About Spa Lawn & Landscape

October on West Mountain turns the hardwoods above Hot Springs a dozen colors at once, and the terraced yards below can fill with leaves in a single windy night. Spa Lawn & Landscape takes those slopes as they come: cleanups hauled off, beds cut back and mulched, turf mowed and edged on ground that rarely offers a level pass. Landscaping on a hillside is mostly a question of where water goes, and the answer shows up years later in whether the grass holds its place. Fall work is the least glamorous and the most useful of the year. By the first warm week of spring, a yard that was tended in October is already ahead.
