Crossno Crew Cuts

About Crossno Crew Cuts

Hope grows famous watermelons, the kind big enough to need two people and a wheelbarrow, and every August the Watermelon Festival turns the town sweet and green-striped. Crossno Crew Cuts brings that summer spirit to the lawns of Hope. A crew cut is short, sharp and tidy, and that is how the grass is left: mowed down neat, trimmed along every border, edged where it meets concrete. In southwest Arkansas the summer grass hardly rests, so a yard that holds its shape through the hot weeks is worth something. A trim lawn on a sweltering Hope afternoon is as refreshing as a cold slice of melon.
