About Grass Guys

Gamaliel sits up in the Ozark hills of Baxter County, a few miles below the Missouri line, where the long arms of Norfork Lake reach back into wooded hollows. On early autumn mornings fog rises from the lake and pools between the ridges like milk in a bowl. Grass Guys tend lawns in that hill country, mowing the slopes and the flats, trimming around stone, stump and fence post, and keeping a country lot from getting away from its owner. Against a backdrop of oak and cedar, a trimmed yard reads like a welcome sign. When the mower stops, the quiet comes back fast, and the lawn looks worthy of the hills around it.
