Fairway Lawns of Fort Smith

About Fairway Lawns of Fort Smith

Out at Chaffee Crossing, on the old Fort Chaffee grounds at the city's eastern edge, a small barbershop museum remembers the March day in 1958 when Elvis Presley sat down for his Army haircut. Fort Smith, it turns out, has always appreciated a good clean cut. Fairway Lawns of Fort Smith brings that same appreciation home, with mowing that lays down long, even passes and trimming that finishes every margin. Evening shows the effect off, low sun slanting across the grass and each row catching the light a half-shade different from its neighbor. A lawn like that makes the short walk from the car to the front door feel like an arrival.
