About Ritchie Lawn Care

All winter bald eagles keep watch over Bull Shoals Lake near Flippin, and by March, as they drift off north again, the first green begins creeping back into town lawns. Ritchie Lawn Care picks up the year from there, taking on the mowing and trim work in Flippin yards as the fescue wakes and wild onion pokes up through the dormant grass. Early spring in the Ozarks swings warm and cool inside a single week, and a timely cut evens out that patchy first growth before it turns ragged. There is a springtime thrill to the opening pass, a yard going from winter-worn to neat in an afternoon. After the long gray months by the lake, the whole town seems to be getting ready to live outdoors again.
