Grime to Green

About Grime to Green

Every town has the lot that got away from somebody, knee-high by May, seed heads nodding over the sidewalk, a fence line lost somewhere inside it. That is the one Grime to Green wants. The first pass through is loud and slow, then comes trimming out the corners, edging the walk back down to concrete, hauling off what the mower left behind, and a second cut a week later that finally looks like a lawn again. Around Farmington the growing season runs long enough that grass forgives you if you show up, and the trick is showing up again. Green is not a color anybody buys here, it is a schedule somebody keeps.
