Davis Lawn and Order

About Davis Lawn and Order

Late October in Davis brings the first truly cool afternoons, when hickories and red oaks let go of their leaves one gust at a time. Davis Lawn and Order lives up to the pun in its name — mowing laid in straight, parallel passes, trimming that keeps the grass from trespassing into the beds, and leaf cleanup that gives the ground its color back. Nothing gets away with loitering on the sidewalk. A weekend without the rake feels like a small reward when the yard is already squared away, and a lawn kept in this kind of order tells the street the house is loved.
