Cory's Lawn Care

About Cory's Lawn Care

The White River runs cold past Cotter and lays fog along the bank most mornings, so the town comes awake under a soft gray blanket with the old arch bridge half showing through it. Cory's Lawn Care starts once that burns off and the grass dries, mowing, trimming and edging yards up the hillside streets and down on the flats near the water. Ozark lots here come with slopes, rock and shade, and getting a level, even cut out of them is a matter of knowing each place by heart. In fall the hardwoods above town let go and the leaves find every yard at once, and clearing them is the whole of the season. A lawn cut clean with an edge sharpened along the porch steps looks right in a river town, where things are kept a little tighter.
