By late July the Bermuda in this part of northwest Arkansas is growing as fast as it will grow all year, and a skipped week shows plainly from the street. AC Caceres Lawn Care mows on a schedule built for that pace, with the trimmer running the foundation, the fence and the mailbox post, and the sidewalk left with nothing on it. Heat is simply part of the work here; the day starts early, the water jug rides on the trailer, and the yards get finished anyway. When the season turns, the job becomes leaves and cleanup, clearing lawns before the wet mats set in over winter. Even lines and defined edges are the small evidence that somebody was here.
