Carter’s Lawn Service

About Carter’s Lawn Service

By seven in the evening the Carter heat finally lets go, the light turns long and gold across the hayfields, and the last yard of the day gets cut in that cooler hour. Carter's Lawn Service keeps a route of lawns mowed, trimmed and edged on a fixed weekly turn, so no yard has to be rescued from itself in August. Storms build in the southwest most summer afternoons and drop an inch on a place overnight; two days later the grass is at the ankle again, and the schedule is what stays ahead of it. Fall means leaves and one last level cut before the Bermuda goes tan and dormant for the year. Shutting the trailer gate on a yard that looks better than it did an hour ago is a satisfaction that does not wear off.
