Lesters Lawn Care

About Lesters Lawn Care

In July the cicadas in Berryville's hills start up before the sun does, a rising buzz from every oak on the ridge. Lesters Lawn Care tries to beat the heat to the yard, cutting while dew still darkens the grass and the air has a breath of night left in it. Summer in the Ozarks is a race: bermuda and fescue push hard after every thunderstorm, and one missed week can bury a sprinkler head. Lesters keeps pace with mowing, string trimming and edging, then blows the clippings off drives and walks before most of town has finished its coffee. When the day turns thick and bright, the lawns on the route are already done, level and green against the hills.
