Mighty Green Lawn Care

About Mighty Green Lawn Care

Woodland sits up in the red-clay hills of Randolph County, where the piedmont begins folding toward the mountains and the pines hold morning fog a little longer than they ought to. Mighty Green Lawn Care starts early here, while dew is still silver on the bermuda and the air coming off the Tallapoosa hasn't yet turned heavy. Summer in east Alabama grows grass in a hurry — one week of afternoon thunderheads and a yard can get away from a person — so the work is steady mowing, fence lines string-trimmed clean, and edges cut sharp enough to draw a line between lawn and gravel drive. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass of the day: stripes laid straight across a sloping yard, clippings blown off the walk, everything squared up before the light goes gold over the tree line. Around Woodland and out toward Wedowee, Roanoke and Rock Mills, that is the whole ambition — a place that looks looked-after, week after week, all the long green stretch of an Alabama year.
