Dirt Monkey

About Dirt Monkey

After a Shelby County rain the red clay around Wilsonville gives up that sharp mineral smell and the grass comes on like it has been waiting all week. Dirt Monkey works with that ground rather than against it — reading which lots hold water, which slopes cut cleanest dry, where the mower needs a lighter hand. Out toward Waxahatchee Creek the lots run big and the growth runs hard, and an overgrown yard can take a season off the way a house looks. Mowing, string trimming, edging and hauling the clippings out of the way is the honest core of the job. Ground that gets attention starts to show it.
