Ramirez Lawn Services

About Ramirez Lawn Services

Union Springs wakes slowly along Chunnenuggee Ridge, the light coming up over Bullock County pasture in long amber bands. Ramirez Lawn Services starts the mowers while the grass is still cool, cutting lines that follow the lay of the land instead of fighting it. Edges get walked twice — once with the trimmer, once with the eye — until the seam beside the driveway reads like a drawn line. Clippings come off the walk with the blower before the truck moves on, so what's left behind is only lawn. In a town that keeps its yards the way it keeps its manners, that finish is the whole point.
