The Southern Landscape Firm

About The Southern Landscape Firm

Some Trussville streets are still shaded end to end by water oaks planted long before the traffic, and the cottages of the Cahaba Project sit under them in tidy rows. Summer down those streets is filtered light, cicadas, and the smell of hot pavement cooling off after five. The Southern Landscape Firm builds toward that setting — beds shaped and edged, mulch laid clean, shrubs held to their outline, lawns mowed and trimmed to match. Old shade is generous with atmosphere and stingy with sunlight, so a yard there has to be planned rather than simply planted. Getting it right means the landscaping looks like it grew up alongside the house.
