Silas Tree Service

About Silas Tree Service

Silas sits in the timber country of Choctaw County, where the pine runs thick toward the Mississippi line and the Tombigbee bottoms hold the heat all the way to dark. Silas Tree Service handles what a yard cannot: removing a pine that has died standing, trimming limbs that reach across a tin roof, pruning the shade trees a house depends on in August. Storms come up from the Gulf here with real weight behind them, and afterward there are trunks across driveways and tops hung in the neighbors' hardwoods. The work then is patient and orderly — release the tension, drop it safe, cut it small, take it away. When the truck leaves, the yard is open again and the porch has its view back.
