About Chambers Lawn Service

Up on Sand Mountain the air runs a few degrees kinder than the valley, and from the edges near Sand Rock you can catch the flat shine of Weiss Lake off to the east. Wind moves across the plateau almost constantly — a gift on a July afternoon, a nuisance the week the leaves start letting go. Chambers Lawn Service works the yards and open ground up here, mowing, edging, trimming, and clearing the debris that plateau wind delivers uninvited. Sandstone sits close to the surface in places, and a mower learns the ground it works. When a lawn on the mountain is cut level and clean all the way to its borders, it looks like it belongs to the sky sitting over it.
