Mitchum Lawn

About Mitchum Lawn

By late October the oaks at Idle Hour Park let go in earnest, and every yard in Phenix City wears a layer it never asked for. Mitchum Lawn works through it — the last cuts of the season, leaf clearing, edges recut where summer blurred them, walks and drives blown clean. The rest of the year is the weekly round: mowing, trimming, tidying, nothing exotic and nothing skipped. A lawn kept in that rhythm holds its color later into fall and comes out of winter ahead of the others. There is something worth standing and looking at in a yard put fully in order before the cold arrives.
